Hey, we provide swim fins and a garden hose to supply fresh air to the explorers.
I need to hire someone to feed the hoses down, so hit me up if interested.

....The good news is water at that pressure crushes you so fast the nerve impulses don’t reach the brain so you never even know it happened.
Humans are essentially bags of water and virtually non-compressible in water. The reason you wouldn't survive at extreme depths like these is it's not possible to have a gas breathing system that can work with our biology in those conditions.
Lol bags of water except for the airways and part of the digestive system. There goes the face, neck, chest, gut. Oh and then there's the shrapnel from the viewing port. And the walls caving in.

We are discussing in my office and are struggling with some basic decisions.... I feel bad for lost lives BUT
How the hell is a person convinced to pay $$$ to be BOLTED into a carbon fiber submersible with acrylic windows, handed a PS4 controller and told "Hope we make it down.".... and these people are billionaires?
This company settled a lawsuit several years ago based on poor quality.......huh? And this captain is on video stating he side stepped certain regulations in the spirit of pushing exploration. ..I'm not sure I'd want that guy cutting my grass let alone get into a submersible with him.

His whole discussion about making the project economical left me very uncomfortable. You don't go economical on that kind of venture.

Per CNN: Nargeolet, the French diver, was accompanying the mission as a content expert intimately familiar with the Titanic wreckage, according to OceanGate’s archived website.
He served as the director of underwater research at RMS Titanic Inc., the company that holds exclusive rights to salvage artifacts from the ship. Nargeolet had performed 35 dives to the wreck and oversaw the recovery of 5,000 artifacts, according to his biography on the company’s website.
So, a grave robber.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

There are 2,640 billionaires worldwide... it only takes a couple with bad judgement to get into a situation like this.

The three-page document spells out the risks passengers take when riding in the 23,000-pound Titan, including eye-popping wording such as how the craft “has not been approved or certified by any regulatory body and may be constructed of materials that have not been widely used on human occupied submersible.”

James Cameron quotes he doesn't trust in carbon fiber material for sub comparing to steel or titanium. Carbon watch case is not my choice unless is cheap like Luminox.

I disagree. He’s a writer and has a second stage view of how physics work. People educated and experienced in deep water physics are much more respected resources to me.
