Re: Car Spotting
I did. It’s a pretty correct car. Unmolested
It’s funny, I post $10 million worth of cars and David ‘s red nose, Ronald McDonald machine gets all the action. I love DWC for that reason. No pretension.

Saw a bug like this coming off the highway on my way home yesterday. "I want one of those" rang through my head.

Re: Car Spotting
Horrible swap motor. They overheat like crazy in swap applications…. I’ve messed with several, including one in a 914 and a Factory Five 818. Not sure why they got popular. Remember. The bug motor is air cooled. No provision in the car for a radiator. Doesn’t work great.
Re: Car Spotting
That's true. You'd have to cram the radiator in the front at a less-than-ideal angle for airflow.Seth wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2024 11:32 amHorrible swap motor. The other issue is the boxer loves to eat head gaskets. Terrible design.Selym wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 11:20 pmThat's true. This old school modded Jeep Renegade runs around the same area we do. It has a 50's bullet bumper on the front, recessed front turn signals into the front fenders, old school bumper on the back, white walls, just some crazy shit and a ton of work. Kind of cool all the pride that was put into it just not a pretty ride imo.

I'm trying to think of what this reminds me of. Something low-slung with pipes and Cruella de Ville.toxicavenger wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2024 8:34 pmThis old school modded Jeep Renegade runs around the same area we do. Something like this Clenet but the pipes come through the panels on either side of the engine and the door profile swoops almost the the floor panels. Some kind of Cadillac?HapaHapa wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2024 8:49 pmI'm trying to think of what this reminds me of. Crazy cool. I remember building a model of this car as a kid in white/green/red stripes if recall.

It's not everyday you see a 348. Killer motor but a mofo to find parts for.
