Wow. 8 Seiko Chronos.

You’ve had such a wide variety of watches since I’ve been on DWC.

What else have you had multiple editions of?

I’m on my 5th Chronograph, hoping this one sticks around longer than my last ones.

As for whether replicas are worth it, I think it depends. If you're into the style and craftsmanship but not looking to drop serious cash, a good replica can be a decent compromise. Of course, it's not the real deal, but sometimes you just want the look without the price tag, right?

^^^^ Thanks for bumping this old post, scammer!

….but, since they bumped it, I’ll use it to comment that I really think Seiko missed an opportunity with the SSC021 movement. If there was a way to make that 3 o’clock dial into a second time zone tracker, that would’ve been very cool.

I think currently it is linked to the hour hand so it is only an AM / PM tracker (which isn’t very helpful in my opinion).

It’s like that with the old Seiko 7T62 quartz movements. Six o’clock subdial is an alarm but I just set it as a second time zone.

^^^ Yes! I knew there was a Seiko quartz chrono movement with that functionality! I just could not remember it.

I always thought those SSC 021's were great looking, budget friendly, travel watches and the second time zone would've sealed the deal for me.
