Farer's newest Field watches

Post by AtomicTom » Mon Oct 21, 2024 10:27 am

Have you guys seen these new 2024 Farer Field Watches?

These newest variations of their field watch from a few years
back have 38mm cases, nice textured sand, green, along with
blue dials, the Sellita SW221-1 movement, fabric sailcloth straps,
steel bracelets and more

That Explorer dialed one is pretty attractive.

As usual, I like the green dial layout with the numerals, but I'd rather it be blue. That's the one thing I dislike the most about Farer. Their colors are awesome, but they also change the dial layout. Don't like a dial? Tough cookies.

I was wondering why these went away ..... thanks Tom. The green and blue dials have been on my watch list for a long time. Looks like Farer changed the bracelet design on the new model.

Blue or green. Both look great. Really nice details on those dials.

Pretty nice. I like the blue dial. The date "wheel" is different.

What’s the reason for dates 28-31 being red / different than the rest of the dates?

I’d guess because of the varying days per month?

Thanks for answering Mikes question Mike ! :salute:

And thank all of YOU guys for chiming in on these, as I know they are a little different,
and maybe a bit overpriced, at least for me. But they have an overall classic feel right?!
With Farer having this cool ability to bridge the past with the present, and not seem to
crazy or odd. Honestly, I would take any one of them.

Thanks an absolute ton for joining the conversation everyone !!!
