Shogun on FX is pretty awesome too. Love the Japanese culture aspect.

Tokyo Vice on HBO is very good as well. More Japanese culture. Yakuza related.

Watching Shogun and finished Tokyo Vice.

Ferrari: Another great film by Michael Mann, definitely an unflinching look at how brutal racing was back in the late 1950s. Watch it as a double feature with Ford v Ferrari if for some crazy reason you haven’t already seen that one.

Side note: Something about Adam Driver must catch the eye of people looking to cast Italian business icons, as he’s now portrayed Mauricio Gucci and Enzo Ferrari.

Just watched Blue Angels documentary on Prime. Seen them a bunch of times here during Fleet Week, always gave me chills. Interesting look behind the scenes and some great video of them performing. I can't even imagine flying 400 Mph 18 inches from the plane next to you.

I watched that last week, and it was indeed impressive.

I spent a week one summer down at NAS Pensacola with my high school Aviation Explorers Club. We stayed in the bachelor enlisted quarters, played sand volleyball every day pretending we were at Top Gun, went to the Naval Aviation museum to meet the pilots, and got to watch the Angels practice their flight demo over the beach. It was definitely an experience I’ll never forget.

Recently watched Dune 1 and Dune 2 back to back since I was dog sitting for my daughter at her apartment.

Both movies are awesome...especially if you like the books.

Herbert’s novel is one of my favorites, and I feel like Denis Villeneuve truly did justice to it. I’m very interested to see where he goes with the third film. There’s also a series coming to MAX that deals with the Bene Gesserit.
