Rolex 2025 models released

Post by hoppyjr » Mon Mar 31, 2025 7:06 pm

I’m not excited about any of them, but the new blue dial color and pistachio dial OP41 aren’t bad.

I’d say I dislike the Land Dweller, but that would be too kind.

Why oh why did they make the green gmt white gold? Well it doesn’t matter anyway as it’s going to be unobtainium.

And land dweller does nothing for me.

I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now

Interesting. If they were available at 15% off retail I'd get the green one. I assume they will trade at $12k or some ridiculous amount when they hit...

If I could buy the green one I would.

$6200 for the 36mm and $6500 for 41mm but just like the previous models ( green, red, yellow, turquoise) probably impossible to get one…Bet 20k or more for a 36mm lavender🤷‍♂️

Overall, a big meh from Rolex..

I really these two. Did they rework the case a bit?
Such a great daily whether in the office or pool side

They altered the case on the 41mm, I assume to make it less chunky.

Even if I had the spare cash, I couldn’t get one. My AD lost their status because Rolex is moving to a Bucherer retail footprint in my area. They took Rolex from my AD but let him keep Tudor.

I don’t like many of their designs lately, as they are moving away from the more function-centric style and toward fashion as a priority. No thanks.

The Land Dweller is hideous. The case and bracelet are kind of nice, but that cyclops-6-9 dial has got to be the ugliest dial they've ever done.

The tradition of me thinking “Their peak was late 5 digit” every time they release something new continues.
I really need to add a 16610lv to the collection

I'm liking the simplicity and the colors of the OP, and I think they would make a fantastic "fun" watch, but I'm guessing the ability to get one at retail will be limited, at best.

Plus, even if I could get one, I do wonder how long the novelty of a "fun" dial color will last.

Part of me says, if you want that look, just get a Ball Engineer Marvelight for $2K (or 50% of that used since they drop in value like a rock) to see how long a "fun" color sticks around.

Love the blue dial of the OP... Reminds me of early VW sea blue which is one of my all time favorite colors.
