I had the summer shoes put back on the X5. Totally changes the look and sharpens the handling too.
Looks great! Loved my E70, such an iconic generation of the X5. Enjoy!

Just picked up my first car in the Philippines. 2024 Mazda CX 5 AWD.

My son turned 15 years old back in January. I’ve always said I would teach all my kids how to drive a manual car, but I haven’t had a manual car in years… until last week:
Overall really good condition. Needs a refresh to the suspension, new throwout bearing (probably do a new clutch as the transmissions needs to come down) and some interior bits to make it really nice.
And more power in the future for sure, but is a really fun car to drive as is.
Supermoto is gone, rode it only twice last year. So much fun, but have had a couple of scares due to idiots watching Tik Tok while driving.

That subi is super cool. SloBro (Tate) says it’s one of the most honest cars there is to learn how to drive a sports car. Bummer about letting the SuperMoto go. I am sad to say that I promised my wife that I was done street riding years ago. She got tired of hearing that story and listening for ambulances.

Those Toyobarus are nice cars.
I think of it as a reasonably-priced Porsche Cayman with the drivetrain mounted the other way 'round.

I would like my next car to be manual for the exact same reason..... teach our kid how to drive stick. Oh, and I want manual anyway.

Thanks guys!
It was 50% teach my son, 50% weekend toy that I can use some days in the week and in rainy days (the motorcycle is not as versatile).
I hope to go up from this one to Cayman at some point (probably a Supra / Z4 in between), but for now it will be plenty of fun and I can certainly learn how to property drive a sports car in this one. My previous manual car was a Miata, so you can see the type of cars I like.

My first car was a triumph GT6. Blew the tranny in 4 months, teaching myself to double clutch. ...

I really enjoyed that car. Ma taught me how to drive with her Datsun (remeber that name)? Then learned how to drive a stick with the Triumph. My GT6 was light yellow/beige. I thought it was cool that the whole front shell (?) would lift to get to the engine. Good times!...
